I keep coming back for a romantic escape. The staff helped my old parents with a sweet attitude. This place suits me perfectly, with all the amenities I need. Can't wait for my next stay!

The room was spacious. Snacks and drinks at the poolside bar were cheap.
We paid €35 extra to upgrade to a seaview room. However, the sea was almost a km away with trees obscuring two-thirds of the seaview. The beds were uncomfortable - really not 5 star quality.

We visited that hotel before and we appreciated the food and facilities. The possibility to swim in a pool. Beach area near the property.

This hotel offers a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and the beach is easily accessible with no charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. The buffet food is of good quality and has a wide variety of options.
The location of the hotel is not desirable, as there is not much to do in the surrounding area. The entertainment is average and tailored towards an older demographic.

The restaurant staff and the location.
The beginning of our stay was a nightmare but then it got Ok. The reception staff were terrible. The customers in this hotel are always wrong, whether there is something wrong with the rooms, when asking for direction or even changing the beach towels. I booked 2 rooms one of which was sea view. None of the initial rooms given had sea view and one smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. When we complaint, they did not believe us and a bell boy was sent to “verify” our complaints. Obviously they did not dispute the cigarette smoke but the sea view was vigorously contested. They tried to “convince” me that a partial lateral view from a standing up position on the balcony was a sea view room. After a frustrating discussion I was changed to another lateral sea view room but at least the was no need to stand up. Returning to the room at around midnight it was infested, in the sense of the word, with ants. After contacting the reception we were told that there was nobody available at that moment to resolve the situation. After 30 minutes I went to the reception where they were organizing for a security guard to spray the room with Doom, but with no intention of changing us to another room. Again I had a hot argument with the attendant and had to threaten to leave the hotel before manager was contacted by telephone and eventually got transferred to another room. This attitude spoiled the beginning of our stay. The restaurant staff were completely the opposite – friendly and efficient. Can’t understand why this hotel is 5 stars. 4 stars will be pushing it.

the dinner buffet
The hotel was very disappointing. For a 5-star hotel, it lacked many amenities, including tissues in the room, a clock in the room, no bathrobe, no double beds (only twins) except in the suites. The price was outrageous for what we got. The pillows were small and only two for two people

It was our 4th stay at the Palace Isla Cristina and we found it still up to standard and we anticipate visting again next year. We appreciate the quiet and cool entrance area and the poolside area and bar. The veranda is excellent for sitting in the shade. The beach cafe is always well supplied and the staff attentive. In the dining room the food available is of excellent quality and variety and the staff could not be better.

The hotel had a lovely pool area and a good-sized bedroom with a balcony. The hotel was located near the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff at the poolside bar was very friendly and attentive.
The food at the hotel's restaurant was disappointing and lacked authentic local cuisine. The hotel was not easy to navigate due to its confusing layout, and the internet speed was very slow. The surrounding neighborhood was not the most comfortable, and it was not easy to find parking near the hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel for my birthday treat. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially a blonde-haired lady at reception who went above and beyond to assist me with a parking fine. Facilities, including the gym, were lovely and clean. Great food and the hotel took notice of guest reviews, opening the beach bar and a la carte restaurant. Easy access to the beach and a central yet peaceful location.
Recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a beautiful location on a peaceful and uncrowded beach that stretches for kilometers. The hotel facilities were clean and the breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options to choose from. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore this charming southern Spanish town.
Nothing not too like.

We stayed at a hotel close to the beach and surrounded by pine forest. the beach was beautiful, stretching for kilometers and mostly private. the room and bathroom were quite spacious, but the view was not as expected. the breakfast was good, but the service lacked a smile and warmth. the pool was too small, but the direct access to the uncrowded beach made up for it.
The bar selection was limited, and the service at the other restaurants was quite poor.
